Mahindra XUV 3XO fuel efficiency and performance details revealed
Mahindra has released yet another teaser for the XUV 3XO, just days before its global launch. In the most recent teaser, the SUV's (facelifted XUV300) interior has been unveiled, as well as the mileage stats and 0-60 kmph sprint time.
It is likely to be powered by the same engine options that were previously available. There is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with 110 PS and a 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo petrol engine with 130 PS. It can also receive a 1.5-litre diesel engine to produce 117 PS. The XUV 3XO will receive identical driving modes as its elder sister, the XUV700: Zip, Zap, and Zoom. According to the newest teaser, the XUV 3XO would be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 4.5 seconds.
As seen in the instrument cluster, one of the 3XO's engine options will return an ARAI-certified mileage of 20.1kmpl. We believe these mpg estimates will be for the diesel engine.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Features
Furthermore, we already know the XUV 3XO will come with a panoramic sunroof. Currently, there are no sub-compact SUVs are offered with a panoramic sunroof. They get a single-pane sunroof instead. Other features could include a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, telematics, ventilated seats, powered driver seat, leatherette upholstery, six airbags, hill hold control, wireless charging pad, USB Type-C ports, auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera, and more.
Given all of the upgrades and added features, the XUV 3XO will be more expensive than the previous XUV300 model. It will continue to compete with compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza.
