Mahindra XUV 3XO TGDI AT real world mileage and performance figures revealed
Mahindra recently launched the new XUV 3XO with prices starting from Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in a range of variants, namely MX1 Pro, MX2 Pro, MX3, AX5, AX5L, AX7, and AX7L. We recently tested the updated XUV 3XO to get the real-world performance and mileage figures, read on to find out the details.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: PowertrainWhile the XUV 3XO carries over the same 110PS/200Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 130PS/230Nm 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 117PS/300Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine, there is a new six-speed torque converter automatic transmission on offer alongside a six-speed manual and a six-speed AMT.
In our performance test, the 1.2-litre TGDI petrol with six-speed automatic transmission returned a mileage of 12.49kmpl in the city and 14.87kmpl on the highway. In contrast, the overall ARAI fuel economy of this powertrain stands at 18.20kmpl.
Further, the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol paired with the six-speed torque convertor enabled the XUV 3XO to achieve zero to 100kmph in 10.7 seconds. In terms of in-gear acceleration, the SUV was able to reach from 30kmph to 50kmph in 2.0 seconds, 50kmph to 70kmph in 2.3 seconds, and 60kmph to 80kmph in 2.8 seconds. In addition, a braking test was conducted, revealing that the XUV 3XO required 3.7 seconds to come to a complete stop from a speed of 100kmph, covering a distance of 46m.
