Mahindra XUV300 facelift: Exterior

Three different variants of the XUV300 were spotted together, and because the front and back were camouflaged, the only way to tell them apart was the wheels. The unit with alloy wheels is most likely the top model, having the same design as the current version, while two other lesser types were spotted with steel wheels and caps.

The Mahindra BE-inspired styling is visible from the exterior. Mahindra has borrowed design elements from the BE05 Electric, including the compact headlamps and C-shaped LED DRLs. The front grille and bumper of the XUV300 will also be more noticeable. While the final tail-light design is unknown, we can glimpse some C-shaped units with LED components.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift: Powertrains

The engine options will remain the same and comprise a 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 130PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel. All engines come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, with an optional 6-speed AMT available for turbo-petrol and diesel engines.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift: Interior

The most recent spy pictures reveal the bigger touchscreen infotainment system that will be included on the upgraded XUV300. To compete with its newly updated rival, the Tata Nexon, higher trims will get an all-new touchscreen interface. We're guessing it'll be a 10.25-inch model based on the size. There will also be a fully digital instrument cluster onboard.

In addition, Mahindra may include new amenities in the XUV300 such as a wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, and, most likely, a 360-degree camera. The sunroof, automatic climate control, steering-mounted radio controls, cruise control, six airbags, and electronic stability control are all features that should be retained.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift: Prices

Currently, the prices of the Mahindra XUV300 start from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 14.75 lakh. We expect the prices of the top-end variants to rise quite a bit with the slew of upgrades it seems to be getting. Upon launch, the XUV300 will renew its rivalry with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue.
