Maruti Suzuki Dzire surpasses 3 million production milestone

In almost 16 years and 11 months, Maruti Suzuki India achieved the milestone of producing 3 million units of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. According to the business, manufacturing of the Dzire surpassed one million units by April 2015, and by June 2019, it had reached two million units.

The second and third generations of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire were released in 2012 and 2017, respectively, after its 2008 launch. In November 2024, the brand-new fourth-generation Dzire was introduced.

The Alto, WagonR, and Swift, three of Maruti's compact vehicles, have already surpassed the 3 million units cumulative manufacturing mark, therefore the Dzire is not the first model to do so. Prices for the new Dzire start from Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
