Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets additional standard safety features
A recent upgrade to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga adds extra safety measures to the list of standard features. Along with the government-mandated safety measures, all variants now have the electronic stability program (ESP) and hill-hold assistance.
Four airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assistance, Isofix child seat anchorages, rear parking sensors, central locking, speed-sensing auto door locks, and cruise control are all included in the Maruti Ertiga MPV's safety package.
A 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission is mated to a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine with 103 PS to power the Ertiga. Another version with an 88PS K15C DualJet powerplant is available for CNG.
The new Ertiga is equipped with a 7.0-inch Smartplay Pro touchscreen entertainment system, which includes features like cruise control, auto headlights, electrically folding ORVMs, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Suzuki's linked car technology. The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga competes with models including the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and Maruti Suzuki XL6.
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is priced between Rs 8.35 lakh and Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom)
