Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Dominion Edition launched
Maruti Suzuki India Pvt Ltd has introduced the new Grand Vitara Dominion Edition in India. It is available in Alpha, Delta, and Zeta variants. Customers can get this special edition of the SUV in both petrol and CNG versions. It is to be noted that Maruti will sell the Grand Vitara Dominion Edition only until the end of this month.
The Grand Vitara Dominion Edition offers free accessory kits, worth of up to Rs 52,699 depending on the variant, for both the exterior and interior. The exterior additions include side steps, rear skid plates, body side molding, door visors, and car care kit, while the cabin gets a dual-tone seat covers, 3D mats, and an interior styling package, among others.
The Grand Vitara is available in a variety of colours: Midnight Black, Opulent Red, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey, and Chestnut Brown, along with three dual-tone shades, namely Splendid Silver with Midnight Black, Arctic White with Midnight Black, and Opulent Red with black roof.
The Maruti Grand Vitara is powered by two engines: a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 103PS and 136.8Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor coupled to Toyota's TNGA Atkinson cycle hybrid technology. Its total system output is rated at 115.56PS, while the engine delivers 92.45PS and 122Nm. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, a torque-convertor automatic, and an e-CVT automatic. Also on offer is the AllGrip all-wheel-drive system with the petrol mild-hybrid manual gearbox variant.
The Grand Vitara CNG, on the other hand, gets the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a manual gearbox. This motor produces 88PS and 121.5Nm of torque in the CNG mode and returns a claimed mileage of 26.6km/kg.
