Maruti Suzuki record their highest ever export number for any financial year
In March 2022, Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 170,395 vehicles. Domestic sales of 137,658 units, sales to other OEMs of 6,241 units, and exports of 26,496 units rounded out the month's total sales.
On April 1 2022, Maruti Suzuki also announced that it exported the most vehicles in FY2021-22. It shipped a total of 238,376 units, the most in any financial year. With 26,496 exports in a month, March 2022 was the month with the most.
In FY2021-22, the best selling models were the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. While Maruti Suzuki automobiles are exported to over 100 countries, the biggest export markets are Latin America, ASEAN, Africa, and the Middle East.
Maruti Suzuki has been exporting vehicles since 1986 and has achieved a cumulative export of over 22.5 lakh vehicles.

These export numbers are a reflection of India's manufacturing potential and the acceptance of India-manufactured vehicles, all over the world."
