Maruti Suzuki to offer 24x7 full-fledged support to cyclone Fani affected customers in Odisha, West Bengal
On April 26, 2019, the extremely severe cyclonic storm named Fani struck the Indian state of Odisha. This unfortunate incident has already claimed many lives. Automobile manufacturers across the country have all swung into action to provide the quickest and most convenient relief to all its customers whose vehicles located in Odisha and West Bengal had been damaged by cyclone Fani. India's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki had already informed three lakh customers in this region, of the preventive measures, a week before the arrival of the cyclone. The company has also distributed its team into district-wise categories so as to quickly take care of any damages to these vehicles.
Maruti Suzuki states that its officials were allocated a district each and their contact details were shared with the customers in the respective areas for help and support. All the workshops located in the affected areas immediately resumed operations the following day, for servicing of vehicles. The car manufacturer also tied up with seven major vehicle towing agencies to provide seamless services to its customers, and spare parts were also requisitioned on a fast track basis.
