Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza CNG specs leaked - Launch soon
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the best selling sub-compact SUV in the Indian market. While the sales have been consistent even without a diesel option, buyers have to look elsewhere for fuel-efficiency. Maruti Suzuki is targeting those buyers with its CNG range whereas the BS6 diesel range is still some time away.
The specs of the Vitara Brezza CNG have been leaked online. It will continue to draw power from its 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine, that with CNG, will produce around 93PS of power and 122 Nm of torque. With gasoline, the same engine will put out 105PS and 138 Nm of peak torque. The CNG model will be coupled with the 5-speed manual whereas the 4-speed automatic option could be a future possibility. Just like the rest of the CNG range, Vitara Brezza CNG will be offered with the VXi trim level. Other than the addition of CNG, we do not expect any other changes to the car thanks to the recently launched facelift.Â
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza CNG will deliver great fuel economy and the low prices of CNG will help buyers save a lot of money. The Brezza CNG will take on the likes of the upcoming Tata Nexon CNG. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will give tough competition to the Nexon CNG, and it even has an upper hand thanks to the naturally aspirated motor with bigger displacement. Maruti Suzuki is also going to launch the Swift and Dzire CNG with the 1.2-litre K12 petrol engine soon.
