McLaren 750S Coupe and 750S Spider launched in India; prices start at Rs 5.91 crore
McLaren Automotive expands its Indian portfolio with the launch of the new 750S Coupe and Spider. Starting at Rs 5.91 crore (ex-showroom), these supercars boast enhanced performance, refined design, and technological advancements.
At the heart of the 750S lies a refined M480T 4.0-litre V8 engine with electrically actuated twin-scroll turbochargers, generating a potent 750PS and 800Nm of torque. Boasting a lighter construction and improved power delivery compared to the legendary P1, this engine propels the 750S from 0-100kmph in a blistering 2.8 seconds, with 0-200kmph achieved in 7.3 seconds. The top speed sits at 332kmph.
McLaren 750S: Design and Interior
While retaining the McLaren design DNA, the 750S features subtle yet impactful updates. A lowered front bumper, narrower air inlets, and a reworked rear deck contribute to a more aggressive stance. On the inside, the Alcantara-clad cockpit offers updated displays, Apple CarPlay as standard, and a new McLaren Control Launcher for personalised settings.
McLaren 750S: Specifications
McLaren prioritises weight reduction in the 750S, achieving a commendable 30 kg decrease compared to the 720S. This is attributed to elements like the Carbon Fibre Monocage II chassis, a revised driver instrument cluster, and a lightweight windshield. Further contributing to performance are wider front track, faster steering, and optimised suspension geometry.
A range of colour, trim, and upholstery options allows owners to personalise their 750S to their taste. McLaren also offers various performance upgrades for those seeking an even a distinct driving experience.
