Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 launched at Rs 1.28 crore
Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 electric SUV has been launched for Rs 1.28 crore (ex-showroom), it comes equipped with a 122 kWh battery that powers a twin-motor drivetrain that pushes 543 PS and 858 Nm of peak torque. It takes around 31 minutes for an 80 per cent charge from 10 per cent with a 200 kW DC fast charger.
In terms of features, it gets LED headlamps with a light bar, blanked-off grille, and 21-inch alloy wheels. The interiors include an 17.7-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, Energising Air Control Plus for air purification and a front passenger display.
Other noteworthy mentions include a 360-degree camera, 5-zone climate control, dual 11.6-inch rear entertainment display unit, Level-2 ADAS suite, nine airbags, and a 5-speaker Burmester audio system. We can expect the deliveries to commence from February 2025. The company has also announced the launch of the CLE 53 Coupe in the second quarter of this year.
