Mercedes-Benz India to increase prices by 5 per cent from January 15
Mercedes-Benz India has announced that it will be increasing the ex-showroom prices of its entire model line-up by around 5 per cent, effective January 15. The luxury carmaker says that this is being done to offsets the increase in its input costs and the steady weakening of the Rupee against the Euro leading to a relative rise in prices of imported components. Mercedes-Benz also says that it has had to invest new technologies and features across its model lineup, which in combination with the other costs has brought an increase in operational expenditures.
The increase will translate into an approximately Rs 2 lakh increase in the ex-showroom price of a C-Class, going up to an expected Rs 15 lakh increase in the price of the Mercedes-AMG GT S 4door Coupe. See the list below for the indicative new starting ex-showroom prices of Mercedes-Benz cars.
