The Gloster Blackstorm edition is distinguished from the ordinary variation by its Metal Black paint job with red highlights in numerous spots. The roof rail, smoked black taillight, window surround, fender, alloy wheels and fog garnish complement the dark theme, giving in an overall dominating appearance for MG's flagship SUV.
The new Gloster Blackstorm edition will get the same 2-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine producing 215.5PS (161PS with 2WD) and 478.5Nm of torque (373.5Nm with 2WD). The MG Gloster Blackstorm has an all-terrain system with seven modes: "Snow," "Mud," "Sand," "Eco," "Sport," "Normal," and "Rock."
The dark tone is carried over inside the interior as well; instead of the typical black and tan brown theme, the dashboard and upholstery are now covered in black with red accents. The vibrant red color may be found on the dashboard and center console buttons, steering wheel, floor mats, door pads, seat upholstery stitching, and ambient lighting.
The Gloster Blackstorm comes with 30 intuitively designed safety features including first-in-segment Level 1 ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Automatic Parking Assist, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and more.
