MG Motor India, Charge Zone join hands to expand EV charging network
British automaker MG Motor India has announced its partnership with Charge Zone âÂ" an EV charging solution provider to expand its charging network in India. The carmaker said that it is furthering towards its commitment to establish an electric vehicle ecosystem with a six-way charging solution. So far, MG has set up over 12,000 chargers across the country.
As a part of this partnership, MG and Charge Zone will together install charging stations across key highways and cities, including MG dealerships. It is to be noted that these charging stations will also be accessible to the public who own other electric vehicles. They will be able to charge their EVs by downloading the Charge Zone app.
MG Motor India current EV line-up includes the Comet EV and ZS EV. The prices of the Comet range between Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 10.63 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants: Pace, Play, and Plush. On the other hand, the ZS EV prices start from Rs 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV is offered in Excite, Exclusive, and Exclusive Pro variants.
