MG Shield Protect plan now available up to 1 year post purchase
MG has completed two years in the Indian market and to celebrate that, MG has enhanced the flexibility of the MG Shield Protect plan. MG owners can now choose the MG Shield Protect Plan within one year of car purchase compared to 30 days time limit before. However, to opt for the plan, the car shouldn't have covered more than 10,000 kilometres in the case of petrol and 15,000 kilometres in the case of diesel.
MG is offering three slabs for the MG Shield Protect plan that will vary depending on the span of ownership and distance covered. In the first slab, the duration is up to one month/ 1,000 km for petrol and up to one month/ 1,500 km for diesel. The second slab has the duration of 2-6 months/6,000 km for petrol and 2-6 months/ 7,500 km for diesel. The third slab has the duration of 7-12 months/10,000 km for petrol and 7-12 months/15,000 km for diesel. It is worth noting that these slabs are only valid for privately registered cars.
Along with that, MG owners can now also extend the 3 years protection plan to 5 years by paying a nominal cost. Speaking on the announcement, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India said, The flexibility of offering our customers MG Shield Protect Plan, on the occasion of our second anniversary in India, is a testimony of our commitment to customer delight throughout their car ownership journey.
