MG ZS EV garners highest-ever sales since launch
MG Motor India has sold the most number of MG ZS EVs since the electric SUV launched in India in 2020. The firm manufactured 1,000 units of the ZS EV in October 2022 with 784 units being sold to customers. This makes it the second-best-selling electric SUV in India after the Tata Nexon EV.
2022 MG ZS EV facelift battery, rangeThe 2022 MG ZS EV now gets a larger 50.3 kWh pack with a more powerful electric motor putting out 176PS. The ARAI certified range has gone up to 461 km as a result, up from the 419 km offered by the previous 44.5 kWh battery pack. The 2022 MG ZS EV can do 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5s.
2022 MG ZS EV facelift features, warranty, priceFeature highlights of the MG ZS EV are the new 10.1-inch touchscreen with the AI assistant, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, powered seats, panoramic sunroof, e-brake, heated ORVM, rain-sensing wipers, PM2.5 filter, front and rear armrests and a Bluetooth-operated digital key for locking/unlocking and starting the ZS EV.
The ZS EV gets an eight-year/1.5 lakh km battery warranty, five year/unlimited-kilometre overall warranty as well as five years of roadside assistance and five labour-free services. Prices for the MG ZS EV start at Rs 23.58 lakh for the base Excite variant going up to Rs 26.49 lakh for the Exclusive trim.
MG Motor India October 2022 salesAlongside the MG ZS EV's strong showing, MG Motor India also recorded its highest production output at 5008 units. It also sold 4367 units in October 2022, a 53 per cent incease over last year.
