Mini Cooper S & Countryman Electric launched in India at Rs 44.80 lakh
Alongside the new 5-Series LWB and CE 04, the BMW Group has also launched the new Mini Cooper S 3-door and all-electric Countryman in India. Bookings for the two new Mini are already underway and deliveries are expected to start very soon as well.

Mini Countryman EV: Exterior & InteriorThe latest Countryman measures 4,433mm in length, 1,656mm in height, and 1,843mm in width, making it 13mm longer and 6mm taller than its predecessor. Its design showcases a minimalist, sleek, and contemporary exterior, consistent with the aesthetics of the new Cooper EV. Key design features include a hexagonal-shaped grille with a bold frame, angular daytime running lights, Union Jack motifs within the Matrix LED taillights, subtle body cladding, and stylish 20-inch wheels.
The Mini Countryman EV features a minimalist interior with a round OLED touchscreen at the dashboard's centre, retaining only a five-button setup, including a toggle bar. Additional features include a cloud-based navigation system, a voice assistant, a wireless charging pad, an optional heads-up display, and USB Type-C fast charging ports.
Mini Countryman EV: PowertrainThe Countryman electric is equipped with a 66.4kWh battery pack which is paired with a single front-wheel drive e-motor that generates 204PS and 250Nm of torque. The SUV offers a WLTP-claimed range of up to 462 km. It can be charged from 10-80 percent in 29 minutes using a DC charger.
Mini Cooper S: Exterior & InteriorThe new Mini Cooper 5-door, features short overhangs, a small bonnet, a long wheelbase, and large wheels. The minimalist design retains classic Mini styling cues, with various colour options and dual-tone paint schemes. Alloy wheel sizes range from 16 to 18 inches.
The interior has been updated to a minimalist, eco-friendly, and tech-savvy design, featuring a textile made from recycled polyester in dual-tone colours. The dashboard and door panels are covered in this textile. A large, slim circular OLED touchscreen display with Mini OS 9 is the centrepiece, and an optional heads-up display is available. The seven Mini Experience Modes allow for different lighting choices, with a projector behind the OLED displaying colours and patterns on the dashboard.
Mini Cooper S: PowertrainThe Mini Cooper S 3-door will only be offered with the 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine generating 204PS and 300Nm and Mini claim a 0 to 100 kmph sprint of just 6.6 seconds. Globally, the hatchback is also offered with a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder petrol as well.
