New Bajaj Pulsar N125 launched: Top highlights

Bajaj Auto introduced the new Pulsar N125 in India on yesterday, on 21 October, 2024. The motorcycle is available in two variants, namely LED Disc and LED Disc BT. That said, it takes on the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.

New Bajaj Pulsar N125: Price & colours

The Pulsar N125 has been priced at Rs 94,707 (ex-showroom) for the base variant, while the range-topping variant costs Rs 98,707 (ex-showroom). The former comes in four colours: Cocktail Wine Red, Caribbean Blue, Pearl Metallic White, and Ebony Black. On the other hand, the latter is available in three shades: Pewter Grey/Citrus Rush, Ebony Black/Purple Fury, and Ebony Black/Cocktail Wine Red. Meanwhile, the new Pulsar N125 stands out with its new design, which is also uncommon in the Pulsar line-up. Inspired by Cyberpunk, it has been developed from the scratch.

New Bajaj Pulsar N125: Engine specifications & mileage

Powering the Pulsar N125 is a 124.58cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 12PS at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. It can go achieve 0-60kmph in six seconds and provides a top speed of 97kmph. Notably, the N125 is claimed to return a mileage of 60kmpl.

Bajaj has given it an LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, an ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) with an auto start/stop switch - a first for the Pulsar series, and a USB charging port. Then, there are telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, a 240mm disc at the front, and a 130mm drum at the rear with a combined braking system. With fuel tank capacity of 9.5 litres, the Pulsar N125 weighs 125kg. It has a seat height of 795mm, while the ground clearance stands at 198mm.
