New Honda CB350 launched in India; prices start at Rs 2 lakh

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its 350cc motorcycle line-up with the new CB350. It is available in two variants: DLX and DLX Pro, priced at Rs 1,99,900 and Rs 2,17,800 (both ex-showroom), respectively. Bookings for the new retro offering are already open at the BigWing dealerships across the country and its deliveries are scheduled to commence soon.

New Honda CB350: Design and colours

The new CB350 bears a proper neo-retro styling with minimalist paint job without graphics. It gets long metal fenders, new split seat arrangement with premium seat covers, tank grips, metallic covers for the front forks, and chrome-finished exhaust. Plus, Honda offers the motorcycle in various glossy and matte colour options, such as Matte Dune Brown, Precious Red Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Matte Crust Metallic.

New Honda CB350: Features and specifications

The new CB350 gets a combination of digital and analogue instrument cluster with Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS). It also boasts an assist and slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system, and an emergency stop signal function.

In terms of hardware, the motorcycle features telescopic front forks, twin-spring nitrogen-charged rear suspension, a 310mm single front disc, a 240mm single rear disc, and 19-inch front and 18-inch rear tyres. Moreover, the new CB350 weighs 187kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 15.2 litres. Its ground clearance stands at 165mm, while the seat height is 800mm.

New Honda CB350: Engine and Performance

Powering the CB350 is a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, producing 21.07PS at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 29.4Nm at 3,000rpm. This motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

New Honda CB350: Rivals

In comparison to the new CB350, the CB350 Hness prices range between Rs 2.10 lakh and Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom), while the prices of the CB350 RS start from Rs 2.15 lakh and go up to Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Its direct rival, on the other hand, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 prices range between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
