New Honda Elevate fuel economy figures revealed

The new Honda Elevate is all-set for the India launch in September 2023 and ahead of its arrival the Japanese automaker has revealed the mileage figures of the SUV. Unlike the City, the Elevate is available only with a single engine option and there is no strong-hybrid powertrain on offer. Honda has already commenced bookings for a token amount of Rs 5,000, while the deliveries of the Elevate are scheduled to begin in October 2023.

New Honda Elevate Powertrain and Fuel Efficiency

The upcoming Honda Elevate gets a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121PS and 145Nm of torque. This motor comes paired with a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. Coming to the crux, with the manual gearbox has a claimed mileage of 15.31kmpl, whereas the CVT automatic transmission can return a fuel economy of 16.92kmpl. In comparison, the City with its 1.5-litre NA petrol engine gives out a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8kmpl with MT and 18.4kmpl with CVT.

New Honda Elevate Features

Honda has equipped the Elevate with the more or less same features as the City. However, it gets a new 10.25-inch touchscreen system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include an electric sunroof, a seven-inch display with an analogue cluster, connected car tech with smartwatch connectivity, a lane watch camera, Alexa support, auto-dimming IRVM, six speakers, leatherette upholstery, wireless charging pad, LED headlamps and fog lights, ESC, six airbags, and up to six airbags. Also on offer is Honda Sensing â€" a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

New Honda Elevate Colours and Variants

The Elevate is available in a choice of four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. It comes with a range of single-tone colours: Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Phoenix Orange Pearl, and Meteoroid Grey Metallic. There are also three dual-tone shades available only with range-topping variant.

New Honda Elevate Price and Rivals

We expect the prices of the upcoming Honda Elevate to start from around Rs 10 lakh and go up to Rs 18 lakh. It rivals the likes 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.
