Honda Elevate: Design

Honda has already teased the upcoming Elevate, showing off its sketches and an aerial photograph. If the latest batch of spy shots are to go by, the Honda Elevate test mule covered with a fully camouflaged appeared to be a production-ready model. The production-spec ORVMs (similar to the Honda City), reflectors on the rear bumper, taillights, alloy wheels, and rear wiper further affirm the SUV being a production-ready model. As seen in the first teaser and most recent pictures, the Elevate is likely to have an imposing stance, featuring an upright face, somewhat flat roofline, straight shoulder line.

Honda Elevate: Interior

The interior is expected to bear a dual-tone theme with leatherette upholstery. Honda is likely to offer a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, rear air con vents with fan-speed control, front and rear arm rests, and probably ventilated front seats.

Honda Elevate: Features

The most recent official teaser confirmed that the Elevate will come with an electric sunroof instead of a panoramic unit. We expect the SUV to get LED headlights, 360deg camera, cruise control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electronic parking brake with auto hold, connected car features with smartwatch connectivity, six airbags, ESP, TPMS, hill hold and descent control, ABS with EBD, four-wheel disc brakes, and Advanced Driver Assitance Systems (ADAS) similar to the Honda City e:HEV hybrid.

Honda Elevate: Engine and transmission

Although the powertrain specifications of the new Honda Elevate are unavailable at the moment, the SUV may benefit from the 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid unit options. The transmission choices could include a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic.

Honda Elevate: Prices and Rivals

The prices of the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV could start from Rs 10-11 lakh and go up to Rs 17-18 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will take on the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
