New limited-run Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition launched at Rs 4.25 lakh

Royal Enfield has revealed the price of its Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition following the unveiling at the Motoverse 2023. This neo-retro motorcycle, based on the Super Meteor 650, comes with a price tag of Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom). However, there is a catch â€" the brand will manufacture only 25 units of this exclusive Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition. These limited edition bikes will be exclusively sold to the 25 attendees of the Motoverse 2023 event. In addition to securing this rare edition, the lucky 25 customers will also benefit from extended warranty and RSA services.

First showcased at EICMA 2021 as a bobber, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition stands as the fourth model in Royal Enfield's 650 lineup, joining the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition: Design

The Shotgun 650 introduces significant design modifications compared to the model is based on. Notable changes include a slimmer fuel tank than the Super Meteor 650, rear-set foot pegs, new peashooter-style dual exhaust, unique tyres, a redesigned headlamp cowl, a single-seat arrangement with the option to remove the rear seat, a glossy finish for the engine casing, bar-end mirrors, reworked fenders, and an eye-catching vivid blue and black paint job with subtle graphics on the fuel tank, side panels, and rear fender. Additionally, the Shotgun 650 is equipped with LED indicators, setting it apart in terms of aesthetics.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition: Specifications

It shares similarities with the Super Meteor 650. This includes the semi-digital instrument console with Tripper navigation, a 320mm single front disc and 230mm single rear disc brake setup, slip-and-assist clutch, dual-channel ABS, upside-down front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, and alloy wheels.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition: Engine

While resembling the engines of other 650 models, its 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine expected to produce 47PS at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5,650rpm. The engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition: Pricing

The expected launch timeline for the Shotgun 650 in India could be set for early 2024. While the limited edition motorcycle is priced at Rs 4.25 lakh2, the estimated prices for the Shotgun 650 might start from Rs 3.30-3.40 lakh. Notably, the INT 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650 are currently priced at Rs 3.02 lakh, Rs 3.18 lakh, and Rs 3.54 lakh (all ex-showroom), respectively.
