New Mercedes-AMG C 43 India launch on 2 Nov: What should you expect?
Mercedes-Benz has geared up for the launch of the all-new AMG C 43 4Matic in India on 2 November, 2023. This sporty saloon will arrive alongside the refreshed GLE. The new-gen C 43 gets significant changes, especially to its powertrain. The carmaker has also given it a lot of AMG components, electronics, styling elements. Here is everything you should know about the upcoming AMG C 43.
The AMG C 43 is powered by a new 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 402PS and 500Nm of torque. It comes mated to an AMG Speedshift nine-speed automatic transmission and a 4Matic all-wheel-drive system. Notably, this engine is the first in a production series to feature an electric gas exhaust turbocharger and 48V mild hybrid assistance. The vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100kmph in a claimed 4.6 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 265kmph.
Mercedes-AMG C 43 4 Matic: Design and InteriorThe new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic has undergone significant design changes, presenting a sportier appearance compared to the standard C-Class. The performance-oriented sedan is equipped with a Panamericana grille, AMG-specific front and rear bumpers, a rear diffuser, adaptive LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights, gloss-black wing mirrors, a boot lip spoiler, and quad exhaust tailpipes.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle appears familiar but includes sport seats and a new steering wheel with AMG Drive Unit from AMG. Notably, it features distinctive red seat belts. Other interior highlights comprise an AMG-specific 12.3-inch driver display, an 11.9-inch central information hub with AMG-specific apps and functions, USB Type-C ports, AMG ride modes, 64 colours ambient lighting, a Burmester sound system, a wireless charging pad, and dual-zone temperature control.
Mercedes-AMG C 43 4 Matic: Features, Electronics, and SpecsMercedes-AMG has equipped the C 43 4Matic with several features and technologies, including rear-axle steering, AMG Dynamics, AMG sport exhaust, AMG sport suspension with ride control, AMG sport braking system, ESP dynamic cornering assist, telematics, seven airbags, 360-degree camera, TPMS, ABS, brake assist, and a heads-up display, among others.
