The Burgman Street EX gets a new Silent Starter System instead of the conventional starter motor. In addition, Suzuki has bestowed it with the Engine Auto Start-Stop system (EASS) that shuts down the engine while standing idle and restarts it when the rider turns the throttle. As a result, this system claims to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Meanwhile, it continues to get a Bluetooth-based digital instrument cluster, a front disc brake, a USB socket, and LED headlamps. Suzuki is now offering the new Burgman Street EX in a choice of three metallic paint options â€" Matte Platinum Silver, Royal Bronze, and Matte Black.

The new maxi-style scooter gets a larger 12-inch rear wheel with a 100/80-12 tyre profile. In comparison, the standard Burgman Street variants come with a 10-inch wheel and 90/100-10 tyre profile. The Street EX carries forward the same front wheel and tyre profile as the standard Burgman Street variants.
