New Tata Harrier facelift bookings open in India
Tata Motors has officially opened the bookings for the Harrier facelift, alongside the Safari facelift in India. The prospective customers can now reserve their new Harrier or Safari for a token amount of Rs 25,000. After the various teasers, the brand has also revealed the pictures of the Harrier facelift ahead of its launch. The refreshed SUV will be available in four variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Fearless across seven colour options.
The new Harrier facelift features a completely new look, especially at the front. There is a new grille, a full-length LED stripe that doubles as turn indicators, a projector LED headlamp setup similar to the Nexon and Nexon EV facelifts, 19-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, and revised taillamps with a light bar. Inside, the updated Harrier gets a dual-zone temperature control, a revamped dashboard and centre console, a new steering wheel, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, a 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, a Range Rover-inspired gear selector, a 45W USB port, rear window sunblinds, and comfort headrests in the rear.
The updated Harrier is available in seven paint options, namely Pebble Grey, Coral Red, Sunlit Yellow, Lunar White, Oberon Black, Ash Grey, and Seaweed Green. In addition, Tata also offers it with the Dark Edition version.
Tata Harrier Facelift: Expected Features
Tata has given it 11 features of the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), along with a knee airbag, Alexa compatibility, gesture control for the boot opening, advanced ESP with 17 functions, a 360deg camera, powered front seats, ventilated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), terrain modes, auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM), four-wheel disc brakes, a wireless charging pad, telematics, front parking sensors, and OTA updates, among others.
Tata Harrier Facelift: Engine. power output, and transmissionPowering the refreshed Harrier will be the 2.0-litre inline-four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. This engine generates 170PS and 350Nm of torque.
Tata Harrier Facelift: Launch and Pricing
The new Harrier facelift is likely to be launched in the coming weeks, with new pricing expected to start at Rs 15.50-16 lakh and go up to Rs 25-26 lakh. In comparison, the previous model was priced between Rs 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 24.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
