New Toyota Rumion G automatic variant launched at Rs 13 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of the new Rumion G automatic variant. Along with the launch of the new variant, the carmaker has also re-opened the bookings for the Rumion e-CNG. Priced at Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom), the Rumion G-AT bookings commenced today on 29 April, with a token amount of Rs 11,000, and deliveries will start on 5 May. The Rumion line-up now offered in seven variants, including S, G, and V along with E-CNG: S variant.

Toyota Rumion: Engine specifications

Powered by a 1.5-litre inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual and a six-speed torque convertor automatic transmission, which comes with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) system. This motor makes 103PS and 137Nm of torque. On the flip side, the CNG version makes 88PS and 121Nm of torque. In our recent fuel economy test, the Rumion has given out a mileage of 9.5kmpl in the city and 17.6kmpl out on the highway.

The new Rumion G automatic variant comes with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Toyota i-Connect connected car tech, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ISOFIX child seat anchorages, 15-inch alloy wheels, engine start/stop switch, front fog lights, paddle shifters, cooled cup holders, four speakers with two tweeters, height adjustable driver's seat and seatbelt, automatic temperature control, and rear wiper with washer.
