New TVS Apache RTR 310 launched in India; prices start at Rs 2.43 lakh
TVS has launched the hotly anticipated Apache RTR 310 in India with prices starting at Rs 2,42,990 (ex-showroom). Aimed at flamboyant young buyers with an inspiration taken from freestyling, the new Apache RTR 310 bears a more potent engine, aggressive bodywork, an ocean of modern features, and fully adjustable suspension. While the new streetfighter is available in three colours, prospective customers can also customise it via TVS Built To Order programme, which offers two distinctive kit options: Dynamic and Dynamic Pro.
The newly launched Apache RTR 310 features a sporty design, aggressive and angular bodywork paired with vivid paint jobs, which makes it stand out in the crowd. Although the motorcycle appears compact, it looks classy in the pictures. There is a twin-pod LED headlight setup integrated with split daytime running lights, a sculpted fuel tank, exposed trellis frame and aluminium sub-frame, flashy golden front forks, step-up split seat arrangement, and a side-slung exhaust reminiscent of the Apache RR 310.
New TVS Apache RTR 310: Features and equipmentTVS has packed the new Apache RTR 310 with a raft of features and rider aides. To begin with, the motorcycle gets a five-inch colour TFT display, showing ride performance data, trip meters, and a customisable widget section. Not only it offers Bluetooth connetivity but the display can also be connected to a GoPro. However, what is more important is that the Apache RTR 310 gets cruise control, temperature controlled rider and pillion seats (heating and cool functions), fully adjustable front USD forks and rear monoshock through Built To Order, five riding modes, bi-directional quick shifter, tyre pressure monitoring system, and dynamic taillight. Not to mention, the streetfighter comes with race tuned dynamic stability control, offering cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and even cornering cruise control. The Apache RTR 310 also gets slope dependent control, wheelie and stoppie control systems.

Powering the Apache RTR 310 is the 312.12cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that now generates 35.6PS at 9,700rpm and 28.7Nm of torque at 6,650rpm. As a result, it can achieve 60kmph from a standstill in 2.81 seconds and tops out at 150kmph. Meanwhile, the naked motorcycle weighs 169kg, while its seat height stands at 800mm. It has a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres.
New TVS Apache RTR 310: PricesThe bike maker offers the streetfighter in three colour schemes: Arsenal Black and Fury Yellow at Rs 2,42,990 (without a quickshifter) and Rs 2,57,990 (ex-showroom), respectively. However, the special Sepang Blue paint job costs an additional Rs 10,000. Further, the Dynamic Kit is priced at Rs 18,000, whereas the Dynamic Pro Kit costs Rs 22,000.
