Nissan Magnite facelift India launch likely in coming weeks

Nissan India is reportedly set to launch the long-awaited Magnite facelift in the market in the first week of October 2024. The SUV has not received a substantial update since its introduction in late 2020. Recently, an updated Magnite mule came into light in a video, where Bharat NCAP was testing the Tata Punch EV and the Nexon EV at its crash test facility. It has also been spotted testing on public roads a few times.

2025 Nissan Magnite facelift Design & Colours

The upcoming Magnite facelift will feature reasonably major styling updates, especially at the front and rear. As seen in some previous spy pictures, it is expected to get a larger grille adjoining the headlights and a new front bumper. Then, the LED headlamps and daytime driving lights may come with a new layout. On the other hand, the Magnite facelift could come with redesigned taillights and a new rear bumper. Additionally, there could be newly designed alloy wheels.

The on-sale model comes with a variety of colours, but Nissan could offer a couple of fresh paint schemes to keep it looking fresh. The existing shades include, Blade Silver, Sandstone Brown, Onyx Black, Storm White, and Flare Garnet Red, along with four dual-tone colours, such as Pearl White with Onyx Black, Tourmalin Brown with Onyx Black, Vivid Blue with Onyx Black, and Flare Garnet Red with Onyx Black.

2025 Nissan Magnite facelift Interior

Although the interior changes of the Magnite facelift remain under the cover, expect a subtle to moderate updates to the dashboard and centre console. Nissan is likely offer a new all-digital instrument cluster, an updated touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fast charging USB Type-C or Type-A ports, updated connected car functions and telematics, and ventilated seats.

It could also boast a few new features and carried over the same from the outgoing model, such as a sunroof, six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, puddle lamps, air purifier, wireless charging pad, cruise control, traction control, vehicle stability management, hydraulic brake assist, TPMS, LED projector headlights, and more.

2025 Nissan Magnite facelift Engine Specifications

The upcoming Magnite facelift is expected to carry over the same 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine with 72PS/96Nm and 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit with 100PS/160Nm. Transmission options should also remain unchanged, such as a five-speed manual, an AMT, and a CVT automatic.

2025 Nissan Magnite facelift Expected Prices

Currently, the Magnite prices range between Rs 5.99 lakh and 10.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming model is expected to attract a higher premium over the on-sale model. New prices may start at 6.30-6.50 lakh and go up to Rs 10.99-11.40 lakh.
