Nissan Magnite facelift: Exterior

The grille is now larger with a new honeycomb design and is bordered by hefty chrome inserts. The L-shaped DRLs and sharp headlights aren't new either, however, the elements inside them are new. The bumper has been adjusted to give it a chunkier appearance.

It has new 16-inch alloy wheels but everything else remains constant in profile. The tail lights at the back have new LED signatures with detailed embellishments. Additionally, a new Sunrise Cooper colour shade is added.

Nissan Magnite facelift: Interior & Features

The dashboard, door pads, and seat upholstery now have a dual-tone copper and black design, replacing the all-black interior of the pre-facelift Magnite. Features-wise, the facelift adds auto IRVM and 4-color ambient lighting. Still, it retains keyless entry with a push-button start, an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument display, cruise control, air purification, and wireless phone charging.

In addition to the six airbags that are now standard, the safety kit also comes with a 360-degree video, tyre pressure monitor, electronic stability control, ABS, and rear parking sensors.

Nissan Magnite facelift: Powertrains

Mechanically the Magnite remains the same. The 1.0-liter NA or 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, continue to do duties under the bonnet. The former may be ordered with a five-speed AMT or a five-speed MT, and it generates 72PS and 96Nm. The latter generates 100PS and 160 Nm and may be paired with a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission.

This Nissan SUV competes with the Renault Kiger, Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Brezza, among other vehicles.
