Nissan Magnite Kuro Special Edition bookings open; launch in Oct
Nissan, as a part of its long-running partnership with ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, has revealed the new Magnite Kuro Special Edition in India â€" Kuro means black in Japanese. This model is available in a choice of three variants and two powertrain options. The Japanese automaker opened pre-bookings for the Magnite Kuro Special Edition for a token amount of Rs 11,000, today, on 14 September, 2023. Notably, the price announcement for the SUV will take place in October this year. In other news, Nissan Magnite had also recieved a Geza Special Edition version earlier this year with prices starting at Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
Nissan Magnite Kuro Special Edition: HighlightsTo begin with, the Magnite Kuro Special Edition is available in three variants, namely the Magnite XV MT, Magnite Turbo XV MT, and Magnite Turbo XV CVT. It features an all-black paint job on the outside, including black grille, skid plate, roof rails, alloy wheels, and black inserts in the headlamps. The SUV also gets "Kruo" badges. On the inside, Nissan has given it gloss black instrument panel along with black interior highlights.
It boasts 360deg camera, themed floor mats, wireless charging pad, wider inside rearview mirror, and rear AC vents integrated into centre console armrest. On the of that, there is Electronic Stability programme (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as standard across all variants.
Nissan Magnite Kuro Special Edition: PowertrainThe Magnite Kuro Special Edition comes powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 72PS and 96Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. There is also a 1.0-litre, inline three-cylinder, turbo-petrol unit that produces 100PS and 160Nm (152Nm with CVT) of torque. This unit comes mated to a five-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
