Nissan X-Trail launched in India at Rs 49.92 lakh
Nissan has introduced the new X-Trail in India at Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in a single variant across several colour options: Pearl White, Champagne Silver and Diamond Black. The bookings are already open of the SUV for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.
The four-gen X-Trail uses the CMF-C platform, and it measures 4,680mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,725mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,705mm. For India, the SUV is available only in a seven-seater version. Split-folding, sliding, and reclining options are available in 40/20/40 ratios for the second-row seat, while 50/50 split-folding and reclining for the third-row seat.
Nissan X-Trail: Interior
Inside, the all-black cabin features an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone temperature control, a 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, a wireless charger seven airbags, limited-slip differential, and front and rear parking sensors, and 360deg, among others.
Nissan X-Trail: Powertrain
Powering the India-spec Nissan X-Trail is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 12V mild-hybrid functionality. This motor comes mated to a CVT automatic transmission, and makes 163PS and 300Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the X-Trail competes against the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tiguan, MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner, and Hyundai Tucson in the country.
