November 2015 issue of OVERDRIVE on stands now

This issue of OD has everything you need to know to home in on what ride to bring home this festive season. Does  the new Ford Figo hatch (i-)tener cojones to swiftly bolt past the competition? Our first drive report will enl-i10 you on that. This review though is not for the fainthearted - you've been warned.

Flip a little further and the temperate gets hell-ish among the little 100PS-plus cars, thanks to the new sting-bearing hot hatch from Fiat â€" the Abarth Punto fights the ballsy Figo and the reigning champ, the Volkswagen Polo in a spirited OVERDRIVE comparo. Our review of the new Cayenne is hotter still â€" we drive the new red hot chilli pepper from Porsche to see if it's all blood sugar sex and magic like it's supposed to be. And because we're such power gluts, we gladly follow it up with a glide in a gleaming GLE. We then cool off in a less urgent, tree-hugging Ciaz SHVS â€" can Suzuki's hybrid diesel seize the day and be the gateway tech to a greener future? Read our drive report to find out.

Mahindra's much awaited 300cc segment entrant, Mr Mojo has finally risen and we ride it out to see if the wait was worth it. The new YZF-R3 has its work cut out, to break into a market where the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300 have their feet firmly planted â€" we ride them on the track to see which one scores more brownie points. The Triumph Bonneville and the Ducati Scrambler may have oodles of old world charm but which of them can take on the fierce Ladakhi terrain? It's machine vs machine vs the might of the Himalayas in a rather extreme, sub-zero comparison.

We pay another homage to the Indian Army as we drive to the border in Audi Qs to commemorate 65 years since the victory in the 1965 war â€" and as with any adventure this close to the frontline, there was much to write home about.

Our childhood motorcycle hero Kevin Schwantz was here at the BIC â€" after the first few minutes of much fangirling and selfie-taking, we got him to revisit the glory years of American motorcycle racing. We also got up close and personal with new FMSCI president Zayn Khan who seems determined to take Indian motorsport to greater heights. Fingers crossed.

For fans of the prancing horse, our poster this month is the Ferrari F12tdf â€" a tribute to the 1956 250 GT Berlinetta that dominated the iconic Tour de France for four consecutive years in the 1950s and 60s.
All this and more in the November 2015 issue of OVERDRIVE â€" it's out on stands now.
