While we're proud to say that our road testers and reviewers are not afraid to call a spade a spade, it's heartening to know that our readers too don't hold back. A lot of new cars and bikes this year created quite the stir and led to lengthy, impassioned discussions on our comments thread. Another important launch this year was the Mahindra TUV300. The review, along with the naturally polarising looks of the Mahindra drew quite a bit of attention from our readers. Unrivalled in the MPV domain, the Toyota Innova was the best in terms of a family mover. Toyota's well spread service network and reliability were the key reasons for it. The only thing that seemed unfair was its pricing. So Renault decided to take on the Innova with an MPV built on its most popular SUV Duster platform and priced it very competitively.
