Porsche Cayenne facelift deliveries to commence in July; prices start at Rs 1.35 crore

German sports car marque Porsche will begin deliveries of the Cayenne facelift in India in July 2023. The Cayenne facelift is available in two versions: the entry-level Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe, with prices starting at Rs 13,561,000 and Rs 14,185,000 (both ex-showroom), respectively. Notably, the brand has already opened reservations for the SUV in the country.

The mid-cycle facelift has brought a wide range of changes to the Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe. The SUV comes with a new bonnet, redesigned front and rear bumpers, angular new headlights, signature daytime driving lights, re-profiled taillights, and a new light bar running across the width. While Porsche offers new alloy wheels in different sizes, such as 20, 21, and 22-inches, the base-spec Cayenne facelift gets a set of 20-inch wheels. New paint options include Algarve Blue Metallic, Montego Blue Metallic, and Arctic Grey.

Porsche Cayenne Facelift: Interior

Porsche has redesigned the dashboard of the Cayenne facelift and it now features new displays and a few other tweaks. The SUV comes with a new 12.6-inch curved driver display, a 12.3-inch central information hub, and an optional new 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen.

Further, the interior features an all-black scheme with a partial leather upholstery as standard. Other material and colour choices are available as optional extras. In addition, the centre console is made of a black glass panel that houses mechanical switches and touch-capacitive buttons with haptic feedback.

Other fresh additions to the interior include a drive mode selector, a 911-inspired steering wheel, a toggle-style gear selector, an air quality system, and four USB Type-C ports (front and rear).

Porsche Cayenne facelift: Features and Equipment

The entry-level Cayenne facelift comes with Matrix LED headlights, TPMS, eight-way power adjustable comfort front seats, adaptive air suspension with levelling system and height adjustment, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), auto dimming IRVM and ORVMs, multiple airbags, four-zone temperature control, ambient lighting, a 10-speaker, 150-watt sound system, and a wireless charging pad, among others. The Cayenne Coupe facelift further gets a sport chrono package, a fixed panoramic sunroof, and eight-way electric sports seats. Porsche also offers a raft of optional features.

Porsche Cayenne facelift: Engine, transmission, and power output

Powering the entry-level Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe is a tweaked 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine producing 353PS and 500Nm of torque â€" an increase of 13PS and 50Nm than its predecessor. It comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. With this, it can achieve zero to 100kmph in 5.4 seconds and provides a top speed of 248kmph.

The 4.0-litre V8 Cayenne S with 474PS and 600Nm of torque, 659PS Cayenne Turbo GT facelift is a 4.0-litre V8 generating 659PS, and 470PS Cayenne E-Hybrid are not available in India at the moment.
