Porsche Taycan GTS & GTS Sport Turismo get massive upgrades

Two new Porsche Taycan versions for the facelifted 2025 model year have been added to the lineup. The redesigned Taycan GTS will be offered in Sedan and Sports Turismo (Wagon) body types, while the new Taycan 4 will be the base model. With the addition of the new models, the Taycan is now available in 16 different versions across the globe.

Many of the 2025 Taycan family's models now feature more power and range in addition to quicker charging. The GTS's basic dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain now produces 700PS with launch control, up from 598PS in the previous model. The basic Sport Chrono package also has a new push-to-pass function that adds 10 seconds of extra power.

The range of the Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo is increased by over 120 kilometres despite the performance bump; according to WLTP standards, the tested range is 628 kilometres.

One step up from the rear-wheel-drive base Taycan, the Taycan 4's dual-motor, all-wheel-drive engine can produce up to 408PS or 435PS with launch control. It can either be had with the 89kWh Performance battery or Performance Battery Plus which is 105kWh The battery type also affects the range. It has a 559-kilometre range when using a Performance battery and 643 kilometres with the Performance Plus battery (WLTP cycle).

Additionally, Porsche incorporated a sound profile that fits the GTS's image. It claims that the GTS differs from the other Taycan 4 models thanks to its electrifying sound, which was influenced by the Taycan Turbo S. You may upgrade to 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels even though the car's base wheels are 20-inch Turbo S Aero Design wheels. In the meanwhile, glossy black accents have been added to the front and back aprons.

The extended Race-Tex and leather interior, heated steering wheel, and 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus are also included. Adaptive air suspension, torque vectoring, and rear axle steering are standard.

The Taycan 4 automatically disconnects the front motor for increased economy while operating in RWD mode. It reactivates in milliseconds as required. Even though this might be an entry-level Taycan, a 10-speaker sound system, matrix LED headlights, and an adjustable air suspension are standard.
