Production ready Tata Curvv interior spotted; identical to the Nexon
The Tata Curvv has been undergoing rigorous testing for a while now as Tata Motors prepares to debut the coupe SUV on the market later this year. We now get a peek inside the cabin of the car and from the looks of it, it resembles the Tata Nexon's cabin. For more details continue reading.
The interior decor looks to be different than on the Nexon, while the arrangement is similar, with the free-floating touchscreen situated over the sleek central AC vents. The Curvv has the same rotary knob as the Nexon for controlling the various driving modes, as well as the same gear lever in front of it.
The bulky four-spoke steering, however, differs from the Nexon and is more akin to what we've seen on larger Tata SUVs such as the Harrier and Safari.
The Tata Curvv is rumoured to be equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Its safety features are believed to include six airbags, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC).
Upcoming Tata Curvv: PowertrainTata Motors had announced that the Curvv will be powered by the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine introduced at the Auto Expo. Even though there is no confirmation, the powerplant is believed to be paired with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Production for the Tata Cruvv is expected to start in the coming months. Prices for the ICE Curvv might start at Rs 11 lakh and rise to somewhere between Rs 17 to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
