Renault Kwid variants explained
So the information about Renault's new secret baby project has been out. And it is called the Renault Kwid. While the vehicle itself was showcased in production form a couple of months ago, Renault divulged information on the product last night. So here are the details of the Renault Kwid variants. The 800cc engine and five-speed manual gearbox are standard across the range.
Renault Kwid StdThis trim of the Renault Kwid has a manual steering, two years corrosion protection warranty, integrated roof spoiler, steel wheels, black bumpers, internal boot and fuel release system, grey upholstery with a single tone dashboard, open glovebox, digital instrument cluster with gearshift indicator and a heater
Renault Kwid RxEAlong with the aforementioned features, the RxE brings along an airconditioner, lockable lower glove box, optional stereo with Bluetooth and handsfree telephony which includes the 12v charging socket, engine immobiliser, foldable back seat, passenger side sun visor, dashboard with a silver satin finish and steel wheels painted in silver.
This trim of the Kwid gets body coloured bumpers, wheel covers, B-pillar black applique, black painted steel wheels, tinted glazing, passenger-side ORVM, intense red upholstery, auto on-off cabin light, assist grips for rear passengers, single din audio with Bluetooth and telephony, front speakers and a 12V power socket and electric power steering.
Renault Kwid RxTThe top end of the Kwid gets front fog lamps, chrome contour instrument cluster, leather wrapped steering wheel, optional driver airbag, chrome knobbed air vents, champion red upholstery, on-board trip computer, rear parcel tray, cabin dimming with fade out, media navigation pack, roof mic, remote keyless entry with central locking and front wiper with washer.
