Royal Enfield announces global warranty programme
Royal Enfield has introduced the 'Borderless Warranty Program' - an initiative that offers riders an extended warranty across multiple countries. The bike maker has over 3,000 authorised service centres in 2,605 cities in more than 70 countries.
As a part of this programme, the riders can explore new destinations with greater confidence as the programme applies to all motorcycles currently under warranty and to new motorcycles purchased from Royal Enfield's authorised stores worldwide. With this, not only customers can get their RE motorcycle serviced at any authorised service centre worldwide, but can also avail warranty.
There is a catch if owners intend to claim warranty for repairs or other services internationally. The motorcycle needs maintenance or warranty claim must have been previously serviced at Royal Enfield's authorised service points. Not only that, the warranty will not be applicable to the motorcycles imported from a different country.
In other news, Royal Enfield has set the stage for its annual event, called the Motoverse 2024 (famously known as 2024 Rider Mania), in Vagator, Goa in November this year. If the previous edition of the biking festival is to go by, the company is likely to showcase at least a couple of new motorcycles or a new concept at the forthcoming 2024 Motoverse. It is expected that Royal Enfield could unveil the new scrambler 650 in the event alongside another new offering. Speaking of which, the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will arrive on 12 August. This update is likely to bring in new colours, all-LED lighting, new switchgear, and adjustable levers.
