Sales of the MG ZS EV Excite variant is now underway
The base variant of the MG ZS EV is now on sale at Rs 22.58 lakh. The company also unveiled a new dual-tone ivory interior motif for the top-of-the-line Exclusive variation. The Excite model is now in production.
The recently released Excite version is almost Rs 4 lakh less expensive than the Exclusive trim. With the addition of the Excite model, the starting pricing of the ZS EV is now less expensive than that of the Hyundai Kona Electric and more comparable to the top trim of the Tata Nexon EV Max.
MG has also increased prices; the Excite variant is now Rs 59,000 more expensive, while the Exclusive model is now Rs 61,800 more expensive. With this, the premium model receives a new interior theme while the base variant gains a 360-degree camera, automated climate control, rear AC vents, and connected car capabilities.
Prior to this, the inside of the top-spec Exclusive model was only offered in a single shade of black. For an extra Rs 10,000, consumers may now choose the new dual-tone "Iconic Ivory" theme.
The MG ZS EV claims to have a 461 km range from its 50.3 kWh battery pack. It also has three levels of regenerative braking in addition to an electric motor that produces 177PS and 280Nm when coupled with the battery.
A panoramic sunroof, a power driver seat, wireless charging, electrically adjustable ORVMs with auto-fold functionality, rear armrests with cup holders, leather upholstery, a dual-tone interior theme, and rear-drive assist are all that the Exclusive model gets over the Excite. The ZS EV Excite comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with connected car tech, a sevenâÂ"inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, air filter, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.
