Skoda Auto India allocates additional units of the Kodiaq
In order to meet the demand and offer faster deliveries to customers, Skoda Auto India has announced an additional allocation of the Kodiaq for the Indian market. The brand recently launched the 2023 BS6.2-compliant Kodiaq in the country, with prices starting at Rs 37.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in a choice of three variants: Style, Sportline, and Laurin & Klement (L&K). The Kodiaq facelift was introduced in 2022 and the allocated first batch was sold out for the next four months within 24 hours of its launch. It was later discovered that Skoda had allocated 1,200 units for 2022, but they were already reserved.
The 2023 Kodiaq bears the same muscular and rugged design language with an imposing stance. The key exterior highlights include Skoda signature butterfly grille with a flashy chrome frame, sharp cuts and creases on the body panels, angular LED headlamps, muscular wheel arches, a set of 18-inch alloy wheels, subtle body cladding, and roof rails. Skoda offers a range of colour options with the SUV, such as Moon White, Magic Black, Graphite Grey, and Lava Blue.
2023 Skoda Kodiaq: InteriorOn the inside, the Kodiaq comes with a dual-tone interior with seats in draped in leather upholstery. The dashboard consists of a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system between vertical air can vents, and gloss black trim. Other cabin features include a 12-speaker, 625-watt Canton sound system, aluminum pedals, powered front seats with memory and ventilation functions, a cooled glove box, a wireless charging pad, a panoramic sunroof, and three-zone temperature control.
2023 Skoda Kodiaq: Features
With the model year 2023 update, the Kodiaq now offers a lounge step for the rear passengers, door edge protectors that come out on the opening of doors, and rear spoiler extensions for enhanced aerodynamic efficiency.
Further, the Kodiaq continues to offer the same features as the previous model, namely dynamic chassis control, drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, and Individual), smartlink connectivity, nine airbags, keyless boot opening, ESC, 360deg camera, cruise control, TPMS, hill hold and descent control systems, and more.
2023 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift: Engine, power outputs, and transmissionThe 2023 Kodiaq gets a 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This unit produces 190PS and 320Nm of torque. Also linked to it is a four-wheel-drive system.
2023 Skoda Kodiaq: Prices
The Kodiaq Style and Sportline come with a price tag of Rs 37.99 lakh and Rs 39.39 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively. Whereas, the range-topping L&K costs Rs 41.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
