Skoda Slavia Style Edition launched in India, priced at Rs 19.13 lakh
Skoda India has launched the Skoda Slavia Style Edition at Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom). With just 500 units set to be manufactured, the Style Edition costs Rs 30,000 more than the top-of-the-line Style variant on which it is based.
The Slavia Style Edition expands on the remarkable Style variant, displaying some distinct features. Notable upgrades include a dual dash camera, an 'Edition' emblem on the blacked-out B-pillars, black mirror covers, and a stunning black roof foil. Inside, the cabin greets occupants with a 'Slavia' branded Scuff Plate and a steering wheel decorated with the coveted 'Edition' logo. Stepping out of the car shows a Puddle Lamp with the Brand Logo Projection.
The Slavia Style Edition will only be available in Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Tornado Red. The 1.5-litre motor remains unchanged, producing 150PS and 250Nm of peak torque when combined with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, which was specifically designed for the Indian market, the Slavia Style Edition inherits the Slavia's safety features, including six airbags, and has received a full 5-star rating for adult and child safety under Global NCAP's rigorous test protocols.
Other features include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a two-spoke steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster, touch-based automatic climate control, a wireless charger, front-ventilated seats, and cruise control. The Slavia competes against the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Honda City in the Indian market.
