Skoda Superb and Octavia expected to get more features
Skoda India is expected to enhance the features list of its higher-end CKD models in the country, with both the Skoda Superb and the recently launched Skoda Octavia expected to get more equipment in the coming weeks. This comes before the facelifted Skoda Kodiaq is launched in India with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol by the end of this year.
The Skoda Superb received a mid-cycle facelift in 2020 with a steady stream of minor updates following the change. A leaked document suggests the latest feature rejig now adds a cognac brown interior upholstery option to the white paint option on the top-tier Superb Laurin and Klement. A driver seat massaging function has been added to this variant as well as two new colour options - Graphite Grey and Brilliant Silver. Skoda Octavia new features
The document also suggests that the fourth-gen Skoda Octavia that debuted earlier this year will also get added kit. This comes in the form of an anti-theft alarm with interior monitoring and will be standard across both the Style and L and K versions. The suede beige interior and paint options remain unchanged unlike in the Superb. Here are all the other features you get with the 2021 Skoda Superb.
Skoda Octavia, Superb specifications, pricesThe Skoda Octavia and Superb are based on different versions of the Volkswagen Group's MQB Evo architecture and are powered by the same engine and gearbox combination. This is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol putting out 190PS and 320 Nm and paired to a seven-speed DCT gearbox. Prices for the Skoda Octavia start from Rs 26.29 lakh for the Style while the Superb is priced from Rs 32.85 lakh for the Sportline.
