Skoda unveil the all-electric Enyaq Coupe iV globally

The new Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV all-electric SUV has been unveiled. TheEnyaq Coupe is a five-seater EV that made its premiere with its RS sporting variant, which is the Czech automaker's first entirely electric Racing Sport vehicle.

Skoda claims that the new Enayaq Coupe iV is a sleeker, more sporty variant of the original version, and it will be produced in Mlad Boleslav, the Czech Republic, factory's production line. Both versions of the Skoda Enayaq Coupe are also based on the MEB platform.

The Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV boasts a striking look with Matrix LED headlights and an illuminated front grille with 131 light-emitting diodes nicknamed the Crystal Face. Of course, the car's back end, with its sharply articulated edge and KODA branding below it on the boot lid, is all new. The panoramic glass roof, which spans from the windscreen to the rear window has a deep black tint. Wheel sizes start from 19-inches and move up to 21's.

The RS model of the Skoda Enyaq Coupe has a black grille, window accents, and rear diffuser, in addition to having a lower ground clearance. To distinguish it from the ordinary models, RS badges and darkened rear windows are included.

The RS iV is the most powerful model, with a maximum output of 300PS and 460 Nm of torque. Skoda claim that the RS iV will sprint from 0 to 100kmph in 6.5 seconds and will top off at 180kmph.

The Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV will come in four different powertrains, two battery capacities, and all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive options. The 60, with a 62 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive, has 179PS, followed by 203PS for the 80, with an 82 kWh battery and rear-wheel drive, and finally 265PS for the 80x, with an 82 kWh battery and all-wheel drive.

Carbon fibre inlays, sports seats with integrated headrests and an RS badging, a multifunction sports steering wheel, and aluminium pedals are included in the Enyaq Coupe iV and RS versions' interiors. A 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-inch infotainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, a 13-speaker Canton sound system and a wireless charging pad round out the features. The Enyaq Coupe iV has a 570-litre cargo area.
