Tata Motors to deploy 1,000 XPres-T EVs for cab services
Tata Motors and EC Wheels India Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deploy 1,000 XPres-T electric vehicles. The automaker will shortly start making staggered delivery of the EVs.
Tata Motors introduced the XPres sub-brand in July 2021, with the XPres-T serving as its debut model. There are two variants of the Tata XPres-T, with 21.5kWh and 16.5kWh battery packs. They each claim to have a range of 213 km and 165 km, respectively and can be charged from empty to 80 percent capacity in 90 and 110 minutes, respectively.
A Harman infotainment system, automatic temperature control, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, alloy wheels, reverse parking sensors, twin front airbags, and blue accents inside and out are some of the Tata XPres-standout T's features.
