While Tata has skipped out on offering this with an AMT which is available on the Tiago and Tigor, the brand claims that this is the first ever CNG vehicle to utilise a turbo petrol engine. This powertrain is capable of a max output of 100PS and 170Nm of torque.
Apart from the 'iCNG badges on the outside, there aren't any design changes made to the Neoxn CNG model. On the inside though Tata has taken things up a notch. Updated features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, air conditioning, a wireless phone charger, an 8-speaker sound system and an air purifier. It also features a new panoramic sunroof, which is the first for a CNG vehicle in the country.
The Neoxn iCNG also utilises the twin-cylinder technology that Tata Motors uses in their CNG vehicles and gives the SUV a boot capacity of 321 litres. Safety features include 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, rain-sensing wipers, hill hold control and an electronic stability program.
