Tata Prima race truck image gallery

Tata Motors recently unveiled the Tata T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship. The series that is set to kick off on the 23rd of March, 2014 at the Buddh International Circuit will feature 12 race-prepped Prima trucks, with renowned truck racing drivers from around the world. Each round will feature two races. We can't wait to see this championship get going. Here are more images of the race ready Primas.

12 regular Primas have been heavily modified for racing

Each round will be held on a tarmac track with two races per weekend

The race Primas are heavily modified - featuring the addition of a rollcage, and changes to the brake cooling system and fuel tank

The racing series will have six teams competing in it, with 12 internationally acclaimed truck racers

Trucks in the championship are capable of reaching a top speed of 110 kph

The Prima racing trucks come fitted with JK Tyre rubber, while the company is also one of the official sponsors of the series itself

Manoeuvring these racing trucks around a tight and twisty race circuit will certainly take some skill and a touch of muscle power too
