The five bestselling cars of FY18-19
It's accounts closing season and while that may mean many things to many people, both good or bad, for us car nerds it is mostly just one thing. As firms drown us in a sea of numbers, we find joy in fussing over the interesting factoids that seem to emerge from everywhere you look.
And the biggest of these is this one. Which cars did we buy the most in the last year? And no surprises that all five of the most popular cars in India are from Maruti Suzuki. This list is a great approximation of the kind of grip this carmaker has on our market. Its cars may not be the best overall package many times, but seem to get all important bits right.
