The January 2018 issue is now out on stands!
We begin the new year with a fresh new look. For the January 2018 issue, OVERDRIVE magazine now sports a slicker, friendlier, more interesting layout, and with it comes news of the newest cars and motorcycles that will hit the market in 2018 and 2019, including the hotly-anticipated 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift. For two-wheelers, the year had closed with the TVS Apache RR 310 being launched, which we have ridden and you can read all about it in this issue. 2017 has proved a whirlwind for the automotive industry as a whole, what with new norms and legislation coming into effect and announced for the future as well. Through this, we have seen the launches of entirely new segments as well as those of some absolutely sought-after models. We have tested all the contenders will celebrate the winners of the 2018 CNBC-TV18 OVERDRIVE Awards in the coming month. For now, you can find out about each of the 20 Car of the Year and 19 Motorcycle of the Year nominees as well contenders for a host of other categories. Cars and bikes of 2018
The 2018 year is also an Auto Expo year, and we all know what that means. Yup, you can expect to see lots and lots of new vehicles - 89 to be precise - which are being aimed at the Indian market for the coming two years. In our special feature, find out about all of the cars and motorcycles you can expect to see in the coming year, as well as those that may be displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo.
Cars
This issue, we test the new Volvo XC60. Does it manage to restore the faith that many customers have put into the previous generation of the SUV? Then there is the big comparison which everyone was looking forward to - the battle of the compact SUVs. The new Ford EcoSport takes on the Tata Nexon and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Renault, meanwhile, has launched the Renault Captur and we drive it to find out how this compact SUV with modern styling distinguishes itself from the Renault Duster it is based on. Bikes
We take a detailed look at the tech which drives the newest Ducati, the Panigale V4, with a visit to the factory in Italy. We ride the TVS Apache RR 310 and find out what makes it tick, as also about how well it rides on the racetrack like it was intended to. Editor Shubhabrata Marmar takes a trip to Spain to ride the latest Ducati Multistrada 1260 S, and flies back just in time to tame the BMW R1200 GS Rallye at a racetrack of all places. Back home, the Honda Grazia takes on the segment leader Suzuki Access 125 is a quick shootout.

We talk to all the racers about their New Year resolutions.
