Tork Kratos electric motorcycle launched, prices start from Rs 1.08 lakh

Tork tell us that the Kratos has been developed completely in-house. Both the Kratos and the Kratos R get the same 4kWh, 48V lithium Ion battery pack which gives the bikes a claimed range of 70km in Sport, 100km in City) and 120km in Eco modes. The Kratos gets a less powerful motor of the pair âÂ" a 7.5kW motor which is said to produce 29Nm of peak torque, while the Kratos R gets a more powerful 9kW motor which puts down a max of 38Nm. Top speed of the Kratos R is at 105kmph which betters that of the standard model by 5kmph (top speed of the RV400 is at a claimed 85kmph).
The standard Kratos as well does come packed with a good amount of features which include multi-drive modes, reverse mode, front storage box, battery indicator, safe home feature, crash alert and an anti-theft system. It gets all-LED lighting, LED DRLs, hazard lights and guide me home lights. It also receives Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
Kratos R customers will get the additional charging network access for free for a period of two years as well as features like geofencing, find my vehicle, crash alert, track mode and analytics, vacation mode and more features. While the standard Kratos takes around 4-5hours to come to a complete charge from the regular home charging unit, the R get a fast charger which the company claim can charge the battery up to 80 per cent in one hour.
Bookings for the Kratos has begun for a token of Rs 999 on the company website while deliveries will commence from April this year.
