Toyota Kirloskar Motor complete the sale of 20 lakh cars in India
Since its beginning in India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has sold a total of 20 lakh wholesale units. The 20,00,000th Toyota sold was a Toyota Glanza in Trichur, Kerala by Nippon Kerala.
The Toyota Glanza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Camry Hybrid, and Toyota Vellfire are among the 7 vehicles sold by TKM. A new version of the Innova Crysta is currently in the works.
The Innova Crysta and the Fortuner are the best selling cars from Toyota at present in the country. Toyota is also in the works with Maruti Suzuki in the development of a new mid-size SUV to take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
Speaking on the occasion, Atul Sood, Associate Vice President, Sales, and Strategic Marketing, TKM, said, "We are thrilled that 2 million customers trust Toyota for their mobility needs.
